Neither team was ready to give up Monday night as the U.S. Southwest faced the
U.S. West, with both teams trying to keep their hopes of reaching Friday's pool
championship games. In the end though, after three hours of play, a single by
the Southwest's Russell Woodard that allowed Michael Gilmore to score from second
base was the difference as the Southwest won 10-9 in eight innings. More...
